Singapore [Singapore], May 31 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while focusing on the infrastructure development of India, said, "Biggest infrastructure story of the world is unfolding in India."

Singapore [Singapore], May 31 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while focusing on the infrastructure development of India, said, "Biggest infrastructure story of the world is unfolding in India."
Prime Minister made this statement while addressing an event at Marina Bay Convention center as part of his one-day Singaporean visit.
He further said, " We are building 10,000 km of highways that is 27 km daily. "
In the railway sector, the Indian government has constructed Metro rails in several cities, seven High-Speed Rail projects, dedicated freight corridors, and modernisation of 4oo railway stations are expected to transform the railway sector", Prime Minister Modi added.
Further projects include 10 greenfield airports, five new major ports, 111 rivers designated as National Waterways and over 30 logistics parks.
In the field of electricity generation 80, 000 megawatts of power had been added in three years. Further, in renewable energy, Prime Minister Modi said, "We have become the sixth largest producer in the world."
Prime Minister Modi is now scheduled to attend a Chief Executive Officer's meeting here.
On Friday, he is scheduled to hold a meeting with Singaporean President Halimah Yacob at country's presidential office The Istana. (ANI)
