Afghanistan's Senate Chairman dubs Pak PM's remarks on Afghan-Indian ties as 'Foolish'

Kabul [Afghanistan], Sept 25 (ANI): Afghanistan's Senate Chairman Fazal Hadi Muslimyar has dubbed the recent remarks by Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Afghan-Indian relations as 'foolish'.

"We denounce Pakistan's Prime Minister's remarks. Along with the condemnation, I must say it is very rude and foolish," Tolo News quoted Muslimyar, as saying.

He added that Pakistan politicians do not have independence and they are the loud speakers of Pakistan's military.

A number of senators also condemned the remarks by Prime Minister Abbasi on Sunday.

According to reports, Abbasi had last week said at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York that Islamabad did not have any problems with New Delhi's financial support to Afghanistan, but Pakistan would never condone India's political or military role in Afghanistan.

Senator Shir Mohammad Akhundzada said it is good if Pakistanis want to have good relationships with Afghanistan but Kabul will not accept Islamabad's influence on the country. (ANI)
