Afghanistan: Four security personnel killed in Herat bomb blast

India addressed the UN Security Council, condemning the involuntary return of millions of Afghans and warning against permissive environments shielding terror networks like al-Qaeda and its affiliates, following the recent 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

A jet aircraft reportedly carried out an airstrike in the Chappar area of Kalat. A powerful blast was heard in the area, although there was no immediate information about casualties or the extent of damage.
