Afghanistan: 10 killed in suicide bombing

Lashkargah (Helmand Province) [Aghanistan], Oct 9 (ANI): At least ten people including a parliamentary candidate was killed in a suicide bombing inside a campaign office here on Tuesday.
According to Sputnik International, ten others were injured in the attack.
"The suicide attack left 10 people killed and 10 more injured, including the parliamentary candidate (Saleh Mohammad Achekzai)," read the statement issued by Helmand governor's media office.
This comes a few days ahead of the parliamentary election in Afghanistan.
In July, the Independent Election Commission (IEC) of Afghanistan had announced that the parliamentary election in Afghanistan will be held on October 20 and the presidential elections will be held on April 20 next year. (ANI)
