7 children die due to measles virus in Pak

Sindh [Pakistan], May 26 (ANI): Seven children lost their lives due to measles virus in Sindh's Kashmore-Kandhkot and Ghotki districts.

Sindh [Pakistan], May 26 (ANI): Seven children lost their lives due to measles virus in Sindh's Kashmore-Kandhkot and Ghotki districts.
As reported by The Tribune, two-year-old Riaz Malik, three-year-old Sadori Malik and four-year-old Ayesha Marwari after being infected with the virus for around a week succumbed to it on Friday.
Further, two-year-old Shamail Malik died in a suburban locality of Tangwani taluka in the same district.
District Health Officer Dr Kartar Lal said measles cases are being reported from different parts of Tangwani area.
The medical teams have been dispatched to the infected area and are treating the ailing kids and providing immunisation to others.
Further, the blood samples of deceased have been sent to Islamabad for laboratory tests in order to establish the cause of these deaths. (ANI)
