Buildings collapses in Marseille

Marseille [France], Nov 7 (ANI): At least three people were killed after several buildings collapsed on Monday in southern France's Marseille city. Their bodies have been pulled out from the debris, fire authorities said.
The first two buildings, located adjacent to each other, collapsed at around 9:10 am (local time). Eight hours later, another building came crashing down. Several people are feared to be trapped inside the rubble, CNN reported.
The cause of the collapses is yet to be ascertained and search for missing survivors is still underway, a spokesperson for Marseille fire brigade said.
The buildings were situated on Rue d'Aubagne in Noailles district, a working-class area in the port city.
Marseille has been witnessing unusual torrential downpours and bad weather for the last few weeks. (ANI)
