12 militants killed in Afghanistan

Kabul [Afghanistan], May 11 (ANI): At least twelve militants have been killed during the operations of the Afghan army Commandos and the Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security (NDS), Special Forces in Afghanistan's eastern Laghman province.

Kabul [Afghanistan], May 11 (ANI): At least twelve militants have been killed during the operations">operations of the Afghan army Commandos and the Afghan Intelligence, National Directorate of Security (NDS), Special Forces in Afghanistan's eastern Laghman province.
The operation was conducted in the vicinity of Alingar district and this operation led to the killing of at least five militants, including two key militant figures, reported Khaama Press, citing a statement released by the governor's office in Laghman.
Meanwhile, the Afghan army commandos conducted operations">operations in Qasaba and Salingar areas of the district and as a result at least seven militants have been killed, the statement added.
A suspect was also arrested during the operation and a weapons depot was eliminated.
Commander of the militants identified as Mohibullah also famous as Khyber was among those killed, the report said.
However, it is unclear as to which terror outfits did these militants belong to? (ANI)
