Steve Jobs lied about naming Apple Lisa after daughter

Samsung and Apple’s long-running rivalry moved to social media as Samsung Mobile US took several digs at Apple during its “Surprise and Shine” event on X.

Apple has introduced iPhone Duo, the first foldable iPhone, at the launch event on Wednesday in California. When opened, it is the thinnest iPhone ever, with a 7.6-inch inner display that provides a large canvas for viewing content, gaming, and multitasking, and a special nano-texture finish that minimises glare for an unparalleled viewing experience. 

Apple has expanded its wearable lineup with the launch of AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, bringing new audio features, health tracking tools, AI-powered capabilities and longer battery life across its latest devices.

Apple has finally announced the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at it's lauch event on Wednesday. The 18 Pro and Pro Max come in deep black, silver, “glacier,” and burgundy, with colour-matched back glass. They also have a new A20 Pro chip and purportedly the longest battery in an iPhone.

Apple is preparing for one of its most consequential September events in years, with the company expected to unveil its 2026 iPhone lineup on September 9 alongside new Apple Watch models, AirPods and major software updates.
