NVIDIA to skip MWC 2020 over coronavirus risk

American technology company Nvidia has stated that there's a fix for a recently discovered issue where Discord update being open in the background limited the performance of some graphics cards.

According to a new leak, it seems that Nvidia is planning on releasing the "unlaunched" 12GB RTX 4080 graphics card as the RTX 4070 Ti.

After adding the disappearing messages feature in 2020, Instant messaging and voice-over-IP service WhatsApp, is now working on an extreme version of that option.

A "multi-year collaboration" between Nvidia and Microsoft is underway to create "one of the most powerful AI supercomputers in the world," which will be able to manage the enormous processing workloads required to train and scale AI.

It would be logical to see the 12GB RTX 4080 make a comeback under the RTX 4070 Ti name because the 16GB model was so different from the 12GB model. Nvidia received harsh criticism for labelling the 12GB model as an RTX 4080.

Over the past few years, gaming laptops have improved a lot most notably thanks to more powerful and efficient GPUs from Nvidia and AMD. Plus, now Intel Arc GPUs are entering the market, bringing some much-needed competition.
