New Delhi [India], May 27 (ANI): LiveMe, India's first live broadcasting and social engagement platform, recently launched five new categories to enhance engagement with users and offer them a wide variety of top-notch content across various domains.
The new categories - Live Entertainment, Live Game of Gamers, Live Laughter Challenge, Live Bollywood and Live Music - aim to fulfil the holistic entertainment needs of users and give fresh talent a solid platform to showcase their skills.
"Live streaming has become an integral part of the lives of young and tech-savvy consumers today. People are keen to catch all the action live and stay updated with their favourite shows on the go. A lot of young Indians are also looking for avenues, where they can exhibit their talent and earn fame," said Yuki He, CEO, LiveMe and senior vice president, Cheetah Mobile.
"We at LiveMe constantly try to provide our users with the best engagement options and strive to cater to their entertainment needs, all on one platform. Our primary target audience from tier 1 and 2 cities is in the age bracket of 16-34 years. We truly believe that the newly-launched categories will gain massive popularity with our user base, enable them to choose from a myriad of content and allow them to experience the joy of live engagement," He added.
