In a move aimed at enhancing user engagement, Instagram has expanded the capacity for carousel posts to include up to 20 photos or videos.

Meta has launched its advanced artificial intelligence assistant, Meta AI, across its major platforms including WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram, catering specifically to users in India.

To prevent Threads posts from appearing on Meta's other platforms, press the two lines in the top right of the Threads app > Privacy > Suggesting posts on other apps - two switches allow users to disable Instagram and Facebook suggestions. Meta prefers to bring out Threads features gradually, reported The Verge.

Zuckerberg took to his official Facebook handle and shared a demonstration video along with a caption, “New for WhatsApp -- we're adding the ability to instantly record and share a video message in your WhatsApp chats. It's as easy as sending a quick voice message.”

According to a report by US-based tech portal TechCrunch, 'Threads' will be linked to Instagram and could have a leg up on Twitter, since it directly imports a user's Instagram followers and following lists.
