Now, have transformed matchmaking experience with BharatMatrimony's web app

New Delhi [India], Sep 25 (ANI): Leading online matchmaking service BharatMatrimony has announced launch of the Progressive Web App (PWA) that offers an app-like experience on simple smartphones with low bandwidth.

The web app loads instantly and offers better experience with superior UI (User Interface) and reduced data consumption for users.

With mobile, accounting for over 80 percent of the profile views and significant percentage of hits coming from 2G networks, this move is critical for quicker life partner search. An advantage especially for those in tier II and III cities with lower internet bandwidth, PWA offers faster loading even in patchy networks.

Users can add this app icon to their home screens and access the BharatMatrimony site by tapping it. It gives an app-like experience without installing the app and the lite design revamp makes it look like a native app.

"We have launched our BharatMatrimony Lite on PWA to address the challenges of these users and give a seamless experience as smooth as the app with notifications and lot more," said chief portal and mobile officer, Matrimony.com, Saichithra S.

"The user interface layer is revamped adhering to PWA best practices, which results in faster loading even in patchy networks. Reduction in the hits to our servers lead to lower data exchange and renders the pages faster by more than 50 percent," added Saichithra. (ANI)
