Delhi to host third annual 5G India Congress 2018

New Delhi [India], April 18 (ANI-Newsvoir): Nexgen Conferences, one of India's leading conferences and B2B event organizers, has announced that the third edition of the Annual 5G India Congress 2018 will be held on April 20 at Le Meridian Hotel here.

Supported by well-known organisations, including Huawei, Nokia, Juniper Networks, Tata Communications, Aricent, Analysys Mason, Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), 5G India Forum, 3G PP, ETSI, TSDSI, Broadband Forum, TAIPA, Broadband India Forum, ITU-APT Foundation of India, NGN Forum, and Emreach; the summit will see key telecom industry professionals, stakeholders, thought leaders, and analysts having discussions on key strategies and on figuring out a road map for deploying 5G network.

The next generation mobility service has a lot to offer to both consumers as well as service providers.

According to the Global Mobile Operators Association (GMOA), 5G will account for 14 percent of global wireless connections by 2025.

Another recent report published on Indian telecom market states that as 5G becomes increasingly integral to industrial businesses and digitalisation, the revenue from 5G-enabled digitisation in India will reach USD 25.9 billion by 2026.

5G Indian Congress 2018 will focus more on understanding and analysing current Network infrastructure and its developments, 5G market condition and requirements, role of operators and service providers in bringing huge amount of data capacity, challenges and their respective solutions in terms of 5G deployment scenarios. 5G promises to bring massively increased data speeds with incredibly low latency.

It is the 5G technology that will enable individuals, governments and companies to remain in sync in real time.

According to recent news reports, the Indian Government has plans to roll out 5G by 2020. In September 2017, the Indian Government constituted a high-level forum on 5G. On the other hand, Indian telecom operators are all set to start adopting 5G technology from this year. 5G is capable of delivering speeds of over one gigabit per second and support several devices at once and the Indian government wants the country to be an early adopter of 5G.

With the advent of next generation smartphones, Cognitive Radio, four-way receiver diversity - MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology with beam-forming techniques such as 8T8R, Digital Signal Processing, Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) and new mobile technologies among others, the telecom industry is presently undergoing consolidation.

These will accelerate the process of upgrading 5G technologies in India and tremendously support the expected rapid growth in video and virtual reality applications with higher data rates, improved spectral efficiency, low latency and delays between click and download.

According to Anjani Kumar Singh, CEO, Nexgen Conferences, "We are delighted to announce third edition of 5G India Congress 2018 which is a well-known thought leadership platform in the Indian telecom industry. The congress creates a unified platform for stakeholders of Indian telecom industry to address latest trends and developments happening in the telecom world. As we are gearing up for 5G era in India, the summit will provide an excellent platform to discuss about the future roadmap in seamless deployment of the 5th generation network technologies."
