New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): Asia's largest helmet manufacturer Steelbird Hi-Tech India Ltd. has announced the launch of Steelbird Connect Mobile app to ensure direct consumers connect with the brand.

New Delhi [India], July 8 (ANI): Asia's largest helmet manufacturer Steelbird Hi-Tech India Ltd. has announced the launch of Steelbird Connect Mobile app to ensure direct consumers connect with the brand. The first of its kind mobile based application, Steelbird Connect allows customer to check the authenticity of the Steelbird range of products they buy. All the Steelbird products with effect from July 1 will have a unique QR code and buyer can simply download the application on their mobile phone and by scanning QR code every consumer will be ensured of the genuineness of the product they have purchased. "This step will counter the fake ISI helmets available in the market Steelbird has taken many bold steps and launch of Steelbird Connect is one of the initiatives to safeguard our customers from fake and counterfeits," said MD, Rajeev Kapur. The mobile application has also linked with a marketing promotional scheme of Steelbird with a motive to expand the certified helmets market and encourage users to go for only BSI certified helmets and other products. Asper this promotional scheme every buyer of Steelbird product is eligible lifelong to win exciting gifts through lucky draw held daily. The lucky draws includes automobile accessories such as gloves, rider jacket and helmets on weekdays and scooty cars at the weekends. "Through the campaign, Steelbird aims to capture another 25 percent market share. The company has earmarked a budget of Rs. one crore for the launch of its campaign. By the end of the year it has planned to give out 40 scooty and 12 cars to its winners apart from the automobile accessories," said Shailendra Jain. "This app for the Smartphone is developed as a promotional marketing strategy of Steelbird. It will also help the brand to penetrate in new territories, besides do away with the fake Steelbird products existing in the market," added Jain. However, Shailendra Jain also added that the brand Steelbird helmets is a part of whooping 1500 crore group. Being, the leader in Indian organized Helmet market, Steelbird enjoys approx 38 percent market share. (ANI)
