Derby [U.K], July 20 (ANI): Indian won the toss and opted to bat first against six-time champions Australia in the second semi-final clash of the ICC Women's World Cup here at the County Ground on Thursday. The match is reduced to 42-over a side after rain curtailed the start of the play for more than three hours. The Mithali Raj-led side are going with the same squad that clinched a huge 186-run victory over New Zealand in their last group stage encounter. Meanwhile, Australia have made one change with Meg Lanning coming in place of Rachael Haynes. India sports a poor record against Australia, having lost 34 out of 42 games the two teams have played so far. The Women in Blue will be aiming to end the losing streak against Australia today in a promising encounter.
