Tabraiz Shamsi debuts as Proteas opt to bat in Adelaide Test
Adelaide [Australia], Nov. 24 (ANI): South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first in the third and final Test against Australia here at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday. For Australia, three debutants are there in its top-six while South Africa have made one change by including Tabraiz Shamsi, who makes his Test debut replacing Keshav Maharaj, in the playing XI. The third game of the series has the Faf du Plessis-led side up 2-0 and the visitors have already achieved a third straight away series win Down Under which makes the Test inconsequential towards the eventual outcome. Teams: South Africa (Playing XI): Stephen Cook, Dean Elgar, Hashim Amla, Jean-Paul Duminy, Faf du Plessis(c), Temba Bavuma, Quinton de Kock(w), Vernon Philander, Kyle Abbott, Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi Australia (Playing XI): David Warner, Matt Renshaw, Usman Khawaja, Steven Smith(c), Peter Handscomb, Nic Maddinson, Matthew Wade(w), Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon, Jackson Bird.
