Mumbai, July 24 (ANI): Sharad Pawar on Sunday said that he would step down after six months as the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) president following the Supreme Court's ruling on age cap of 70 years for cricket administrators. Addressing a press conference here after the meeting of the managing committee of Mumbai Cricket Association, Pawar, who has been both International Cricket Council and Board of Control for Cricket in India chief, said, "I will be the happiest to retire because Supreme Court has said that above 70, no one should continue. Secondly, the Supreme Court has said about nine years. I come in both categories." "As per Supreme Court guidelines, I can continue for six months, not beyond that.We will change the constitution of MCA as per the Supreme Court guidelines. We will form a committee for that," he added. Pawar served as the chairman of the BCCI from 2005 to 2008 and as the president of the ICC from 2010 to 2012. (ANI)
