PCB chairman recuperating after heart surgery in London

Karachi [Pakistan], Sept.13 (ANI):Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar Khan has been recovering well after undergoing a successful heart surgery at London's Royal Brompton hospital last week, a PCB spokesperson has confirmed.

Karachi [Pakistan], Sept.13 (ANI):Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar Khan has been recovering well after undergoing a successful heart surgery at London's Royal Brompton hospital last week, a PCB spokesperson has confirmed. Shaharyar, who is recently elected as the Asian Cricket Council chairman, had earlier complained a breathing problem after which he went through some medical tests that suggested a surgery. The PCB spokesperson further confirmed that the 82-year-old was soon expected to return home after the final medical advice, the Dawn reported. Meanwhile, Shaharyar's family revealed it was for the first time that the PCB chief had gone through the medical tests before adding that the a timely decision regarding the surgery helped him in avoiding any serious problem. (ANI)
