Parthiv Patel to replace Wriddhiman Saha in Mohali Test
New Delhi [India], Nov. 23 (ANI): Wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel, who last appeared in Test matches in 2008 against Sri Lanka, will replace injured Wriddhiman Saha in the third Test of the ongoing five-match series against England to be played in Mohali commencing November 26.

New Delhi [India], Nov. 23 (ANI): Wicketkeeper-batsman Parthiv Patel, who last appeared in Test matches in 2008 against Sri Lanka, will replace injured Wriddhiman Saha in the third Test of the ongoing five-match series against England to be played in Mohali commencing November 26. Patel has earned a recall to India's Test team as Saha, who developed a strain in his left thigh during the Visakhapatnam Test, has been advised rest by the BCCI medical team. The 31-year-left hander, who made his Test debut in 2002 against England, has so far played 20 Tests for the national side in which he has scored 683 runs at an average of 29.69. Meanwhile, right-arm medium pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has fully recovered from back strain, has been recalled in the 16-man squad for the remaining Tests against England. (ANI)
