Ojha recovering from head injury sustained during Duleep Trophy tie

Greater Noida [India], Sept.7 (ANI): Leg-spinner Pragyan Ojha is getting better after being hit on his head while fielding for India Green in their Duleep Trophy tie against India Blue here on Wednesday, said the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

Greater Noida [India], Sept.7 (ANI): Leg-spinner Pragyan Ojha is getting better after being hit on his head while fielding for India Green in their Duleep Trophy tie against India Blue here on Wednesday, said the Board of Control for Cricket in India. The 30-year-old was immediately taken to hospital after he was hit on the back of his head while fielding at mid on at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground. "Pragyan Ojha suffers freak head injury in @Paytm Duleep Trophy match, taken to hospital for tests," the BCCI wrote on Twitter, while adding later that he was doing fine and his health was being monitored. The incident occurred in the 63rd over of India Blue's second innings when Pankaj Singh's shot took a bad bounce before the ball hit him. He immediately fell to the ground and was stretchered off the field in a semi-conscious state. (ANI)
