Liton Das recalled in Bangladesh squad for India Test
Dhaka [Bangladesh], Feb.1 (ANI): Bangladesh batsman Liton Das has been recalled in the 15-member Test squad for the one-off match against India beginning February 9 in Hyderabad. The 22-year-old's selection comes after his first-class double-century in the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL). Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and top-order batsmen Mominul Haque and Imrul Kayes, who all missed the side's last Test match against New Zealand in Christchurch due to injuries, have also returned to the squad to face the Virat Kohli-led side, reports ESPNcricinfo. Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Mustafizur Rahman, Nurul Hasan and Rubel Hossain have all been left out. The lone match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium will be Bangladesh's first ever Test in India, sixteen years after they played their first ever Test against the Indian side in Dhaka in November 2000. The Bangladesh Test squad is as follows: Mushfiqur Rahim (captain and wk), Tamim Iqbal, Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mehedi Hasan, Taijul Islam, Kamrul Islam Rabbi, Soumya Sarkar, Taskin Ahmed, Subashis Roy, Imrul Kayes, Liton Das (wk), Mominul Haque, Shafiul Islam.
