Johannesburg [South Africa], Oct. 14 (ANI): South Africa have moved up to the second spot in the latest ICC ODI Rankings following their clean sweep in the five-match series against Australia.

Aussie clean sweep takes Proteas to No. 2 in ODIs
Johannesburg [South Africa], Oct. 14 (ANI): South Africa have moved up to the second spot in the latest ICC ODI Rankings following their clean sweep in the five-match series against Australia. Australia, despite losing the series, are still at the top of the rankings but have lost vital points. The Faf du Plessis led-side leapfrogged New Zealand and India to within two points of Australia's tally of 118 points, reports Sport24. The Proteas, who had started the series with 110 points, gained six points post their cruising victories against the Aussies whereas the latter plunged from 124 to 118 points. The latest ODI team rankings are as follows Rank Team Points 1. Australia 118 2. South Africa 116 3. New Zealand 113 4. India 110 5. England 107 6. Sri Lanka 101 7. Bangladesh 95 8. Pakistan 89 9. West Indies 88 10. Afghanistan 52 11. Zimbabwe 46 12. Ireland 42 (ANI)
