Nadal, Djokovic to play friendly match in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh [Saudi Arabia], Oct 8 (ANI): World number one Rafael Nadal and Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic are all set to play against each other in a friendly match as part of the upcoming King Salman Tennis Championship at Saudi Arabia.

Riyadh [Saudi Arabia], Oct 8 (ANI): World number one Rafael Nadal and Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic are all set to play against each other in a friendly match as part of the upcoming King Salman Tennis Championship at Saudi Arabia.
Both the players took to their respective Twitter handles and confirmed their participation in the event.
"Thanks for the invitation and looking forward to playing and visiting for the first time!" Nadal wrote.

"Looking forward to playing and visiting this beautiful country. Thank you for the invitation, see you guys soon!" Djokovic tweeted.

Nadal and Djokovic have had a good run in the 2018 season. While the former clinched the French Open title for the record eleventh time, the latter made a great comeback by winning his third US Open trophy.
Head to head, the Serbian holds a better record against Nadal, having won 27 matches out of a total 52 clashes between the two.
The King Salman Tennis Championship match between Nadal and Djokovic is slated to be held on December 22. (ANI)
