`Young` Pacquiao admits he'll relish Mayweather rematch
Johannesburg [South Africa], Nov.22 (ANI): Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao, who made a winning comeback from his brief retirement earlier this month, has insisted that he feels like a young man once again before expressing his desire for a rematch against his American rival Floyd Mayweather. The WBO welterweight world champion has asserted that he is in a great shape to take revenge of his last defeat to Mayweather during a heavily anticipated ' Fight of the Century', the highest-grossing bout in history which grossed more than 500 million dollars. "I feel young. I feel like I'm just 25, or that I'm just 28 years old," Sport24 quoted Pacquiao as saying. "Of course, if he wants to come back (to) boxing," the Filipino added when asked if he would relish another crack at Mayweather. Earlier, Pacquiao fuelled talk of a rematch against Mayweather when he invited the undefeated American, who retired in September 2015, to attend his successful comeback against Jessie Vargas in Las Vegas earlier this month. Mayweather did attend the fight, where Pacquiao clinched a WBO welterweight, with his daughter. The boxer-turned politician also teased fans about a possible rematch last week by posting pictures on social media, which showcased him wearing a suit bearing photos of him and Mayweather in the lining. The Filipino boxer further hinted that he is not ready to step away from the ring again anytime soon. "I still believe in my skills. You just need discipline, how you discipline yourself and work hard," said Pacquiao, while adding he would only walk away from the sport once he no longer wanted to put in the long hours of training. Pacquiao, who boasted an enviable record of 58 wins in his 66 professional fights, originally called curtains on his illustrious career after beating Timothy Bradley by unanimous decision in April before being elected to the Philippines senate a month later.
