Rio de Janeiro, Aug 20 (ANI): Jamaican Sprinter Usain Bolt created an unprecedented record, a triple treble, as he bagged his third Gold in Rio Olympics 2016.

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 20 (ANI): Jamaican Sprinter Usain Bolt created an unprecedented record, a triple treble, as he bagged his third Gold in Rio Olympics 2016. Usain won the 4x100 meters relay, and bid farewell to Olympics with nine sprint Gold medals to his name. He has won the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 meters in Beijing 2008, London 2012 and now in Rio 2016. Jamaica won the Gold with a time of 37.27 seconds by anchoring his team. Bolt retires with 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 meters World and Olympic Record to his name. Over in women's 4x100 meters relay, USA took the Gold as Jamaica took the Silver and Great Britain the Bronze. In other events, the 4x400 meters Indian men's and women's relay team did not qualify for the Final of the event. Sandeep Kumar finished 34th in the 50 km walk. In the Women's 20 km walk, Khushbir Kaur ended 54th, while Sapana could not finish the race. Over in wrestling, Sandeep Tomar in the 57 kg weight class could not progress and made an exit. United States continues to top the medals tally with 38 Gold, 35 Silver and 32 Bronze. Great Britain is second with 24 Gold, 22 Silver and 14 Bronze. China is third with 22 Gold, 18 Silver and 25 Bronze medals. India is on 64th position with a Silver and a Bronze. (ANI)
