Pro Kabaddi League: Delhi Dabang hand Bengaluru Bulls crushing defeat

Bengaluru, July 16 (ANI): Dabang Delhi KC crushed Bengaluru Bulls 40-20 to notch a much-needed victory in the fourth season of the Pro Kabaddi League at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium here last evening.

Bengaluru, July 16 (ANI): Dabang Delhi KC crushed Bengaluru Bulls 40-20 to notch a much-needed victory in the fourth season of the Pro Kabaddi League at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium here last evening. Bengaluru Bulls' wretched home form continued as they lost all four games in front of their home crowd. Kashiling Adake had a superb game and scored 11 points to lead his team to a resounding win. With only their third win of the season, Dabang Delhi KC have 20 points from eight games and remain seventh in the table. But they have three games in hand over Bengaluru Bulls who now have 21 points from 11 games and are sixth in the table. Both teams started off with bonus and raid points as it took four minutes for the first tackle point with Dabang Delhi KC holding a slender 3-2 lead. Bengaluru Bulls scored their first tackle point in seventh minute to level the game 3-3. Bengaluru Bulls led 6-4 after 10 minutes as Dabang Delhi KC star Meraj Sheykh struggled to open his account. Dabang Delhi KC earned a bonus point and scored a tackle point to tie the game at 6-6 in the 13th minute. Rohit Kumar of Bengaluru Bulls had a quiet first 15 minutes and couldn't score a single point. The Bulls' defence also struggled in the first half as they scored just two tackle points. Kashiling Adake scored a super raid and reduced Bengaluru Bulls to one man and give his team 11-6 lead after 16 minutes. Dabang Delhi KC rose into ascendancy as they inflicted an all out to lead 14-7 after 17 minutes. Rohit Kumar scored his first point after 18 minutes to cut the deficit to six points. Selvamani and Kashiling Adake scored four points each in the first half as they led 15-8 at the end of the first half. Dabang Delhi KC started the second half in style as they raced into a 10-point lead after 23 minutes. Meraj Sheykh put a disappointing first half behind him to give his team five points as he scored an all out and inflicted an all out as Dabang Delhi KC led 23-8. Bengaluru Bulls continued to flounder as they trailed 12-27 after 30 minutes despite Yogesh Hooda scoring seven points. Bengaluru Bulls' defence scored just two points after 32 minutes as Dabang Delhi KC were cruising and led 29-12. Kashiling Adake compounded more misery on Bengaluru Bulls with a raid point and then inflicted another all out as Dabang Delhi KC led 36-14. Bengaluru Bulls looked absolutely hapless in the last five minutes as Dabang Delhi continued to score raid points. Dabang Delhi made Bengaluru Bulls suffer all night and handed them a thrashing to win 40-20. (ANI)
