Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 16 (ANI): Maj Sahil Gautam won the Bronze medal in the second National Para Archery Championship, which is being held here from July 14-16.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 16 (ANI): Maj Sahil Gautam won the Bronze medal in the second National Para Archery Championship, which is being held here from July 14-16. He missed the Silver medal by one point, scoring 658 out of a possible 720 points. Gautam, who is from 85 Armoured Regiment and representing the Services, is a paraplegic officer and is a part of the newly established Army Paralympic Sports Node at Bombay Sappers, Kirkee. He was training with the elite archers of the army at ASI, Pune. He got into the sport only nine months ago and within a short span of time, the officer has secured a medal in his first national event. He lost to the archers who won the Gold and Silver in the last year's championship. (ANI)
