Singapore [Malaysia], Apr.16 (ANI):Ace Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth will meet his fellow countryman B. Sai Praneeth in the first ever all-Indian men's singles final at Singapore Open Superseries tournament here today. It is for the first time in the game's history that two Indian male shuttlers will be witnessed taking on each other in a Super Series title clash. Srikanth, a former World No. 3, registered a 21-13, 21-14 win over World No. 26 Anthony Sinisuka Ginting of Indonesia to reach the third Superseries final of his career. Praneeth, on the other hand, continued his impressive return to the court as he hammered Korea's Lee Dong Keun in a one-sided last-four contest to storm into his first-ever Super Series final. Going in today's match, Praneeth has a 4-1 head-to-head record against his more illustrious compatriot Srikanth, who had clinched the 2014 China Superseries Premier and 2015 India Superseries besides also making it to the last-eight at the Rio Olympics.(ANI)
