After Narsingh, wrestler Sandeep Tulsi Yadav also fails dope test
New Delhi, July 25 (ANI): A day after it was reported that India's Rio Olympics-bound wrestler Narsingh Yadav tested positive for a banned steroid, another Indian wrestler, Sandeep Tulsi Yadav, has failed a dope test conducted by the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA). As per reports, Sandeep tested positive for the same substance as the Rio Olympics-bound wrestler. Sandeep Tulsi is Narsingh Yadav's sparring partner and roommate at Sports Authority of India, Sonepat. He is a Greco-Roman wrestler and had won a bronze at the 2013 World Championship in the 66 kg category. Rio Olympics bound Narsingh tested positive for a banned steroid and is likely to miss the bus for the Summer Games. NADA conducted a random dope test on Narsingh on July 5 at the SAI's regional centre in Sonepat. The report of his 'A' sample test came out positive. Later, he was called for his 'B' sample test, which also returned positive. According to reports, he had returned positive for methandienone -- a banned anabolic steroid. (ANI)
