London, July 7 (ANI): Defending champions Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis crashed out of the Wimbledon after losing in the quarterfinals of the women's doubles event here on Thursday. The top-seeded Indo-Swiss pair were beaten 2-6 4-6 by Kazakhstan's Yaroslava Shvedova and Timea Babos of Hungary in a contest that lasted for one hour and eight minutes at the All England Club. Mirza endured a disappointing outing at the Wimbledon this time as she and her Croatian partner Ivan Dodig made an early exit after losing their mixed doubles second round encounter in straight sets.
