Williams `so stressed` as daughter Alexis suffers during teething

Washington D.C [U.S.A], Dec 18 (ANI): American tennis star Serena Williams, who became a mother in September, has said that watching her three-month-old baby going through the painful process of teething is quite heart breaking for her.

Taking to her Instagram account, Williams posted a picture of her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian and shared, "Teething- aka the devil - is so hard. Poor Alexis Olympia has been so uncomfortable. She cried so much (she never cries) I had to hold her until she fell asleep."

Williams further revealed the techniques that she has been trying to soothe the pain of her daughter, reports the People magazine.

"I've tried amber beads. cold towels.. chew on mommies fingers.. homeopathic water (lol on that one) but nothing is working. It's breaking my heart. I almost need my mom to come and hold me to sleep cause I'm so stressed. Help? Anyone??," she said.

Serena' baby girl was born on September 1 at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, weighing in at 6 lbs., 13 oz.

In November, the former world no. 1 tied the knot with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in New Orleans in front of a bunch of their nearest and dearest. The lovebirds, who began dating in 2015, announced their engagement in December last year.

Williams, who won this year's Grand Slam title at the Melbourne Park, while she was pregnant, is hoping to make a return at the Australian Open, something which will push her Grand Slam total to an all-time record-tying 24 titles.(ANI)
