She said Yes! NFL star Sterling Shepard engaged to Chanel Iman

Washington D.C [U.S.A], December 4 (ANI): Supermodel Chanel Iman has accepted NFL star Sterling Shepard's engagement proposal.

The professional football player selected a rooftop with a panoramic view of New York City and a sea of candles in the background as he went down on one knee to pop the question to her girlfriend-and she said `yes`.

While 24-year-old Sterling could be seen donning black jacket and black jeans, 27-year-old could be seen in white feathery coat and dark skinny trousers and apparently covering her mouth with surprise.

Sterlin and the former Victoria's Secret model, who have been dating each other since January this year, both took to their Instagram account to announce the news, the TMZ reported.

Sharing a picture of their proposal, Chanel couldn't help gushing over her boyfriend and said that she is beyond excited to spend rest of her life with him.

"A night full of tears of happiness. I'm beyond excited to spend the rest of my life with you @sterl_shep3 you are my soulmate, my best friend, my everything! Can't wait to be your Mrs.," she wrote.

Sterling, on the other hand, too posted a same picture and captioned, "the catch of my dreams...can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you!"

Interestingly, Sterling opted to ask the question just a day after Chanel celebrated her 27th birthday. (ANI)
