Serena targets Steffi`s record again at Wimbledon
California, July 9 (ANI): World number one Serena Williams will aim to fulfill her long-standing quest of equaling Steffi Graf's record of 22 Grand Slam titles when she will take on reigning Australian Open champion Angelique Kerber in the Wimbledon women's singles final here today. It will be a perfect opportunity for defending champion Serena to take revenge of her Australian Open loss by beating Kerber in her ninth Wimbledon final. Earlier, Kerber defeated Serena's elder sister Venus Williams in straight sets to once again set up a summit showdown clash against the top-ranked player. Meanwhile, Kerber will seek to claim another upset win over Serena to become the first German woman to clinch Wimbledon since Graf in 1996. (ANI)
