Sania-Barbora clinch Pan Pacific Open women's double title
Tokyo [Japan] Sept. 24 (ANI): Indian Tennis ace Sania Mirza and her Czech Republican partner Barbora Strycova on Saturday came out with a spectacular performance to clinch a straight-sets victory against China's Chen Liang and Zhaoxuan Yang in the final to win the women's doubles titles at Toray Pan Pacific Open here in Tokyo. Despite facing a disappointing exit at the US Open, the pair, playing their third tournament together, bounced back in style and comfortably defeated the unseeded Chinese pair 6-1, 6-1 in the summit clash. With this win, the duo has now secured their second title in two months after pairing up. Last month, Sania and her new partner Strycova clinched the Cincinnati Open title defeating the pair of Martina Hingis and Coco Vandeweghe. This is Sania's 40th doubles title win and third in Tokyo.
