Johannesburg [South Africa], Apr 24 (ANI): Fourteen-time Grand Slam Champion Rafael Nadal has climbed up to the fifth spot in the latest ATP rankings after clinching a record 10th Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters title. The Spanish maestro thrashed his compatriot Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6-1, 6-3 in a thrilling summit showdown to win 50th trophy on his favourite surface, his 70th overall and his first title in almost a year. Meanwhile, Ramos-Vinolas, who defeated world number one Andy Murray and Croatia's Marin Cilic on his way to the finals, jumped up five places to his career-best 19th position, Sport24 reported. Andy Murray continues to remain at the top spot ahead of Serbia's Novak Djokovic and Swiss Stan Wawrinka, who had all made early exits in Monte Carlo. The current top 10 are: 1. Andy Murray 2. Novak Djokovic 3. Stan Wawrinka 4. Roger Federer 5. Rafael Nadal 6. Milos Raonic 7. Kei Nishikori 8. Marin Cilic 9. Dominic Thiem 10. David Goffin. (ANI)
