LaVar Ball says people are scared of him as he is black

Washington D.C. [USA], Dec 14 (ANI): LaVar Ball has always been in headlines for his bold statements and this time he has come up with something new.

TMZSports reports, the father of three basketball players has said that people are scared of him because he is a black man.

Baller and his two youngest sons, LiAngelo and LaMelo, stopped by 'The Breakfast Club' to continue to add to his outspoken reputation.

When asked if he thinks the perception of him would be the same if he were Caucasian, Ball said, "Heck no. They're scared of me because I'm uncontrollable.

When you can't control one of us you in trouble."

And that, according to him meant that a black man with a vision is a threat to the status quo, and he feels he's been vilified to a degree for being that threat.

This is not the first time he has said something unexpected.

His early remarks included saying that his son Lonzo is better than Stephen Curry and claiming that he himself could defeat Michael Jordan one-on-one in basketball.

Ball has made several appearances on national TV and has routinely drawn attention from major sports media outlets. (ANI)
