New Delhi [India], January 30 (ANI): The Kabaddi Champions League (KCL) gears up for another exciting Day 7 double-header on 31st January, 2026, with two competitive encounters scheduled at the Sports University of Haryana, Rai, as teams look to strengthen their positions in the league standings.
The evening action begins at 7:00 PM with Sonipat Stars taking on Faridabad Fighters in Match 13. Sonipat Stars will aim to rely on their disciplined structure and tactical approach, seeking to control the tempo and build pressure through consistent performance, according to a KCL release.
Faridabad Fighters, meanwhile, will be eager to bring energy and aggression to the mat, focusing on quick raids and sharp defensive responses to challenge their opponents.
Ahead of the clash, Avi Duhan, Sonipat Stars' key player, said, "We're focused on staying consistent and playing as a unit. We want to keep our winning momentum going as every match at this stage is important, and we want to make the most of our opportunities."
Ishant, the next-gen Kabaddi Star who showed a class game in the previous game for Faridabad Fighters, shared, "The competition is tough, but we need to continue to fight back and get points on the table. Last match was a really special match for me, and now clashing against the host team, Sonipat Stars, means it's a fierce battle. But we're ready for the challenge."
The second match of the night, scheduled for 8:00 PM, will see Bhiwani Bulls face Panipat Panthers in Match 14, a contest expected to be high on intensity and physicality. Bhiwani Bulls will look to assert themselves with their aggressive style and strong raiding options, while Panipat Panthers will aim to counter with speed, teamwork, and quick transitions.
Panipat Panthers raider, Meetu Sharma said, "This will be our first back-to-back game of the league. We have won one match and lost one, and we would like to seal a win against the Bhiwani Bulls. The team is motivated and confident. We're ready to fight hard and put in a strong performance."
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Parvesh Malik of Bhiwani Bulls, who won the defender of the match in the previous fixture, said, "We have got what it takes to be on the top. We have learnt a few lessons from our previous matches and have worked on them as a team. We want to play positive, fearless kabaddi and maintain pressure throughout the match."
With the league entering a decisive phase, Day 7 carries added significance as teams battle for momentum and crucial points. (ANI)
