The 28-year-old gave a tough competition to Hu Binyuan of China before eventually finishing second to pick up silver.

Dahiya shot 76 out of 80 targets, three behind gold-medallist Hu Binyuan (79), who set a new world record.

Meanwhile, Italy's Davide Gasparini (56) picked up bronze after scoring 56 points.

By securing his first World Cup medal, Dahiya has pushed India's medal tally to three in the tournament so far.

World number one Ankur Mittal, another Indian in fray, finished at the fourth spot in the final with a score of 45 points.
