New Delhi [India], Mar. 09 (ANI): Indian archers on Wednesday finished with three gold and two bronze medals to end their campaign in the Asia Cup Archery Stage 1 in Bangkok on a high.

Promila Daimary bagged a gold medal for India as she defeated Natalia Erdynieva of Russia 7-3 in the women's re-curve individual on the final day.

Akash, Gora Ho and Gaurav Lambe also added to India's tally by getting the better of their Mongolian rivals 27-26 in the tie-breaker to clinch another gold for India.

The third gold medal came yesterday when Muskan Kirar beat Nadhirah Zakaria Sazatul of Malaysia 139-136.

Muskan ended up clinching a second bronze medal when she, along with Divya Dhayal and Mrinal Hiwrale, defeated their Indonesian opponents 227-221 in the third-place playoff.

Madhu Vedwan beat Altangerel Enkhtuya of Mongolia 6-5 in the shoot-off after being locked at 5-5 for the bronze.

India lost out in the compound men's team in the third place playoff and the compound mixed team bronze playoff. (ANI)
