Diego Maradona arrives in Kolkata on three-day visit

Kolkata (West Bengal) [India] Dec 10 (ANI): Argentina football legend Diego Maradona reached Kolkata for a three-day visit on Sunday.

Donning a blue T-shirt and a cap, Maradona was seen waving at fans before getting into a car for the hotel.

Scores of fans were gathered outside the airport to get a glimpse of their favourite star footballer.

Maradona will play a charity football match against former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly on December 12.

The trip was originally scheduled to take place in October but was postponed several times.

This is the second visit of the footballer in the city. He was last here in December 2008. (ANI)
