Gold Coast [Australia], April 14 (ANI): Indian boxer Vikas Krishan picked a gold medal in men's 75 kg category here, during the ongoing 21st edition of the Commonwealth Games, on Saturday.

Krishan beat Cameroonian boxer Dieudonne Wilfried Seyi Ntsengue 5-0 to bag India's 25th gold.

Meanwhile, Dipika Pallikal Karthik and Saurav Ghosal had to settle for a silver medal in the squash mixed doubles event.

After storming into the finals on Friday, Ghosal and Pallikal suffered a straight-game loss today at the hands of Australia's Cameron Pilley and Donna Urquhart.

The duo suffered a disappointing 8-11 10-11 loss in a total of 29 minutes.

Earlier in the day, Union Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore met with boxing medalists from Commonwealth Games, which included Gaurav Solanki, Manish Kaushik, Mary Kom, among others.

At present, India's medal tally reads twenty-five gold, sixteen silver and eighteen bronze.

India currently ranks third in the medal tally with the 59 medals. Australia and England are leading with 184 and 121 medals respectively. (ANI)
