Chhattisgarh: Cycle rally organised to promote 3rd edition of Abujhmad Peace Marathon

The pair made history in 2025 by becoming the first Indian duo to score a podium finish in any WRC class when they finished second in WRC3 at Rally Saudi Arabia.

In the previous season under the captaincy of Rishabh Pant, LSG finished at seventh spot with six wins and eight losses, with 12 points.

Set to be organised for three days - March 8, 9 and 10 - the 2nd edition of the carnival will be inaugurated on Sunday, after completion of the 64th edition of the Fit India Sundays on Cycle at the Major Dhyanchand Stadium, which will also mark the celebration of International Women's Day. This edition will put a special focus on women athletes, influencers and fitness champions, as per a press release from the Sports Authority of India (SAI).

The Minister added that the initiative builds on the momentum created by recent professional cycling events in the country and will inspire young Indians to take up the sport.

The iconic Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Swimming Complex transformed into an arena of fitness with Zumba, yoga and rope skipping zones coming alive with participation of more than 1000 individuals as the 63rd edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle was organised at 1000 locations across the country in collaboration with the Fire and Emergency Department, under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
