Asian Games: Lakshay wins silver in shooting

Jakarta [Indonesia], August 20 (ANI): Indian shooter Lakshay Lakshay has won a silver medal in men's trap event in the ongoing 18th edition of Asian Games here on Monday.

Jakarta [Indonesia], August 20 (ANI): Indian shooter Lakshay Lakshay has won a silver medal in men's trap event in the ongoing 18th edition of Asian Games here on Monday.
The 19-year-old fired a total of 39 shots to finish second on the podium increasing India's total medal tally to four.
While Chinese Taipei player Yang Kunpi clinched the gold medal in the event with a total score of 43, Daemyeong Ahn of Korea settled for bronze with a tally of 30 shots.
Other Indian shooter in the event, Manavjit Singh Sindhu finished fourth after shooting a total of 26 rounds in the final.
Earlier in the day, Indian shooter Deepak Kumar had bagged a silver medal in the 10m Air Rifle event with a score of 247.7 points.
Shooter Ravi Kumar had opened India's medal tally at the Asian Games on Sunday by clinching a bronze medal in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event along with Apurvi Chandela.
India's medal tally stands at four with one gold, two silver and one bronze. (ANI)
