Asian Games: Heena Sidhu bags bronze in 10m Air Pistol event

Jakarta [Indonesia], August 24 (ANI): Indian shooter Heena Sidhu on Friday won a bronze medal in the Women's 10m Air Pistol event at the ongoing 18th edition of the Asian games.The 28-year-old scored a total of 219.2 points to finish third on the podium.

Jakarta [Indonesia], August 24 (ANI): Indian shooter Heena Sidhu on Friday won a bronze medal in the Women's 10m Air Pistol event at the ongoing 18th edition of the Asian games.The 28-year-old scored a total of 219.2 points to finish third on the podium.
While Chinese shooter Qian Wang bagged gold with a score tally of 240.3, Minjung Kim of Korea settled for a bronze medal with 237.6 points.
In the same event, India suffered a major upset as 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medalist Manu Bhaker got eliminated from the competition after finishing fifth on the points tally with a score of 176.2 points.
The 16-year-old, who is the youngest Indian to win a gold medal in the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup, was among the major medal potentials at the prestigious tournament.
India total medal tally at the Asian Games now stands at 23 with six gold, four silver and thirteen bronze. (ANI)
