Asian Games '18: Over 500 athletes to represent India

New Delhi [India], July 1 (ANI): The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has reportedly cleared 514 athletes for the upcoming 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, a source said on Sunday.

New Delhi [India], July 1 (ANI): The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has reportedly cleared 514 athletes for the upcoming 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, a source said on Sunday.
An official announcement is yet to be made by the association, however, there is a possibility that a few more names could be added to the list, an IOA official told ANI.
The 18th Asian Games - a pan-Asian multi-sport event - is scheduled to be held from August 18 to September 2 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang.
Hanoi, Vietnam was the original host of the game, but they later withdrew their name due to financial constraints.
In the last edition in Incheon, 541 players represented India in different games. In total, India won 57 medals including 11 Gold, 9 Silver and 37 Bronze in the last Asian Games. (ANI)
