London [England], Sept.2 (ANI): European champions Portugal continued their winning ways, defeating Gibraltar 5-0 in a friendly fixture in Porto despite the absence of star striker Cristiano Ronaldo. For Portugal, who lifted their first ever major international trophy at the Euro 2016 in July, Nani scored twice while Joao Cancelo, Bernardo Silva and Pepe were also on target, the Guardian reported. On the other hand, Spain secured a 2-0 win over Belgium under new manager, Julen Lopetegui, in another friendly game in Brussels. Elsewhere, Euro 2016 finalists France claimed an impressive 3-1 win over Italy and Greece defeated Holland 2-1 in their respective friendlies. (ANI)
