`Fit- again` Ronaldo set to make Madrid return against Osasuna
Madrid [Spain], Sept.9 (ANI): Portugal star striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been out of action since injuring his knee in the successful Euro 2016 final, has confirmed that he will make his return for Real Madrid in this week's La Liga clash against Osasuna. While speaking at a promotional event, the 31-year-old insisted that he was fully fit to make a comeback before adding that it will be against Osasuna. "Yes, I will play [against Osasuna]," Ronaldo, who only returned to Madrid training this week, was quoted as saying by goal.com. Ronaldo, a three-time Ballon d'Or winner, sustained the knee injury during the early stages of the Euro 2016 final match, thus eventually making a premature exit from his side's 1-0 extra-time victory over hosts France . Meanwhile, Madrid have won both of their La Liga games so far this season, beating Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo. (ANI)
