Rohtak [India], Apr 24 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Hockey produced a dominant performance as they thrashed the Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd 9-0 in their Pool A clash of the 7th Senior National Championship 2017 (Women) 'A' Division here on Monday.

Rohtak [India], Apr 24 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Hockey produced a dominant performance as they thrashed the Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd 9-0 in their Pool A clash of the 7th Senior National Championship 2017 (Women) 'A' Division here on Monday. Goals for Chhattisgarh Hockey were scored by Pooja Singh (22', 47'), Seema Ekka (24', 35'), Shashi Lakra (26'), Soni Gaund (31'), Soni Singh (39'), Avntika Yadav (42') and Pooja Yadav (51'). In the opening clash of Day Five Association of Indian Universities beat Hockey Karnataka 8-1 in Pool A. Jyoti Gupta (12', 29', 44') and Narinder Kaur's hat tricks (48', 51', 58') were enough for Association of Indian Universities to take the three points. Bhavya SP scored the goal for Hockey Karnataka in the 37th minute. In Pool C, Hockey Madhya Pradesh beat Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu to keep their perfect record in the pool stages intact. Nutan Topno kick started the goals, scoring the first of the game in the 8th minute. Shivani Singh's hat trick (21', 56', 58') and Neha Rawat's brace (20', 24') meant Hockey Madhya Pradesh rode out clear winners.(ANI)
