7th Senior Women's C'ship:  Hockey Rajasthan beat Hockey Madhya Bharat 5-1
Rohtak [India], Apr 21 (ANI): Hockey Rajasthan hammered Hockey Madhya Bharat 5-1 in the semi-final clash of 7th Senior National Championship 2017 (Women) 'B' Division here on Friday. In the first game, Hockey Rajasthan produced a master class to defeat Hockey Madhya Bharat 5-1 and take their place in the finals. Braces from Situ Poonia (13', 48') and Raju Ranwa (20', 57') were enough for Hockey Rajasthan who dominated the game constantly and never allowed them any space for a comeback. Hockey Madhya Bharat's lone goal was scored by Kratika Chandra in the 38th minute. In the second semi-final clash, Hockey Him beat Hockey Coorg 6-0 to enter the final. Hockey Him started the scoring as early as the 4th minute with their captain Sarita giving them the lead. Sarita scored a hat trick (4', 30', 48', 53') and was assisted by goals from Sharmila Devi (7'), Saroj (16') in their victory. Hockey Madhya Bharat will now face Hockey Coorg in the third and fourth place match while Hockey Rajasthan will take on Hockey Him. (ANI)
