Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], Apr 21 (ANI): Steel Plant Sports Board outclassed Manipur Hockey 8-1 on Day 2 of 7th Junior National Hockey Championship 2017 (Men) 'A' Division at Aisbagh Stadium. A hat-trick by Jay Prakash Patel (41', 59', 64') and a brace by Sushil Kullu (17', 54') were the highlights in a clinical performance by Steel Plant Sports Board to take all three points. In Pool C encounter, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy beat Hockey Karnataka 6-1.Goals for Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy were scored by Jay Rathore (7'), Suhail Zafar (22'), Mohd Alishan (52', 66'), Ravi Panche (64') and Akshay Awasthi (70'). Hockey Karnataka's only goal came in the 65th minute via Harish Mutagar. In Pool A, newest entries to the 'A' Division, The Mumbai Hockey Association Ltd. beat Bengal Hockey Association 5-1. Dilip Pal's hat trick (14', 51', 57') and goals by Mohit Katoute (38') and Dheeraj Vats (70') were enough to give them the victory. Bengal Hockey Association's goal was scored by Rahul Dev Shaw off a PC conversion in the 55th minute. (ANI)
